My new service sorts and organizes your crypto news
Twitter, Facebook, Signal, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Hacker News, Project White Papers & Case Studies, Industry Websites, PR firms
These are all sources of fintech and crypto information, yet I’m sure you’d agree that getting good, actionable fintech information is hard to do. Getting good, honest, actionable cryptocurrency information is even harder. With marketing hype, all the ‘buy our token’ tactics, pump and dump & speculation out there, finding real news is incredibly difficult, even for an industry guy watching the market all the time like me.
And it doesn’t matter if you are a Bitcoin maximalist, you have a couple of favorite projects or just love speculating on altcoins. Access to real information is difficult.
What’s a smaller retail investor/individual investor or cryptocurrency hobbyist to do? How can you separate the signal from the vast amounts of noise to get the news you can really use?
Imagine if you had a place you could go just once a week. Instead of sorting through Reddit discussions on your favorite token project or reading multiple project white papers a week like it was your full-time job, this place has nothing but news. No hype, no marketing, no selling, only real news. Now think about if you didn’t have to go anywhere physically or online but all that news came to you.
Announcing Crypto News over Nonsense
Announcing my newest service Crypto News over Nonsense (CNON). This is a paid weekly service for the small fee of $7 per month or $55 per year. My promise to you is no hype, no selling, no marketing, no-nonsense, only news delivered into your email inbox once a week.
If I can’t provide you more actionable insights and value in your crypto investment decision making worth way more than $55, then I don’t want your money.
If I can’t save you more than $55 worth of your time by only giving your straight news without you having to search online for real information, then I don’t want your money.
One decision from this newsletter should pay for itself 20x over and avoiding bad decisions (Read our sample piece at the bottom of the link on Tether) should save you even more.
Why a Newsletter?
As a 6 year blogger about fintech, people tell me things. Usually interesting, sometimes useful things. I’ve gotten to meet many industry insiders over the years. I started writing about Bitcoin and crypto back in 2014 during a bear market and before all the crazy 2017 hype and price increases. Conferences were smaller and attended by the now leaders, pioneers, the Bitcoin OGs some call them. Some of them are friends now, many of them colleagues. When I don’t know the answer to something, I have a big pool of industry insiders I can ask. They include:
- Top cryptocurrency journalists
- Founders and project leads on some of your favorite ERC-20 tokens
- Current and former Bitcoin Core programmers
- Leaders at related companies like wallets and exchanges
- Leaders in areas like Legal and Compliance
Their insights and my own are all yours, once a week in your inbox. Just click on the link and hit Subscribe Now. I’m so sure you’ll like it, I’m giving you the first 2 for free.
The first question I got from friends about this was Why Email? Isn’t that from like 2002?
There’s no doubt we get bombarded with email and how we use it now is different. But that’s why I like it, it’s different. It’s personal and intimate unlike some of the crazy things I see on social media platforms.
I used to love social media for news, especially as a way to combine and sort different news sources all in one place. In fact, I still use Twitter for this, but less often than I used to. But now I log on and every 2 seconds I see a (mostly video) ad for something I don’t even want. It’s annoying. The email newsletters I get no, I really want and the sorting of if it’s good enough to take the time to read I’ve already done by selecting it in the first place.
