AutoInvest Update: May 2016

Another month has come and gone on my AutoInvest plan so let's check results.

Due to my slacking on my investment responsibilities, I have yet to implement my AutoInvest on Bitbond so my only option now is still Loanbase. Let's see how I did.

This month has a little more red on it than the previous 2 and this was something I expected. The repayment history is still pretty strong though as 2 of these loan payments (1 paid, 1 not) were loans I selected and the other 72 were from my AutoInvest plan. Of those 72, 63 of those payments were made for a repayment rate of 84%, still very very strong.

Interestingly, my AutoInvest plan now projects a negative Income.

Isn't my mug pretty? I'm curious about this negative projected 0.89% though given the repayment history I am seeing. I have invested equal amounts across all of these borrowers and my 9 non-payments are across 7 borrowers. Since I have chosen the Cautious plan, this means my Interest Earned will be lowest and will have to offset these principal losses.

Let's see what next month brings......

  1. Hi Stu! Thanks for all the informative content, it’s great to see the results of your AutoInvest experiment.

I’ve just started investing with Bitbond and I’d like to start with Loanbase, too.

One thing I’ve noticed, Loanbase has very few open listings, of late, and my “area is restricted” from funding. (I’m in the US, but none of their documentation would indicate they don’t accept investors from here.)

Wonder if you or your readers have noticed the same thing? Thanks 🙂
